**Revelation 20:3** โ *"And he threw him into the Abyss, shut it, and sealed it over him, so that he could not deceive the nations until the thousand years were complete. After that, he must be released for a brief period of time."*
Three verbs. Threw. Shut. Sealed.
God's sovereignty over the Adversary is not passive โ it is deliberate, layered, and complete. The binding of Satan here is not a negotiation. It is a decree. Every seal is an act of covenant faithfulness toward those who dwell under His care.
And yet โ *he must be released.* Even that release falls within God's sovereign will, not outside it. The enemy holds no authority except what is permitted and bounded.
Scripture reminds us: the Shepherd does not lose track of the wolf. He accounts for every movement.
Walk with that truth today โ your peace is not dependent on the enemy's restraint, but on the One who does the restraining.
