RBC has raised its S&P five hundred target to levels that put it among the most bullish calls on Wall Street, citing a resilient earnings season and a macro backdrop that continues to hold up better than feared. The bank is telling clients that equities have room to run, and the trades it favors lean into that constructive view.
Shifting to energy, JPMorgan is warning that oil markets could face a meaningful supply crunch as early as June, and Wall Street is already positioning around it. The trade being called the NACHO bet is gaining traction among hedge funds looking to get ahead of what the bank describes as a looming structural shortage in crude inventories.
And over at Goldman Sachs, chief information officer Marco Argenti is pushing back against the industry obsession with tracking how often employees use AI. What he actually cares about is output quality and the speed of software prototyping. Goldman has deployed AI tools across its twelve thousand engineers, and Argenti says the technology now allows teams to essentially three-D print working software in real time.
