**Revelation 21:21** โ€” *"And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, with each gate consisting of a single pearl. The main street of the city was pure gold, as clear as glass."*

A single pearl forms each gate of the New Jerusalem โ€” not assembled from fragments, but whole. The ancient world prized pearls above nearly every treasure, yet here one pearl becomes an *entrance*. What we would lock away in a vault, God walks us through.

And the gold of that street? Clear as glass โ€” nothing hidden, nothing obscured. Earthly gold conceals its impurities. Heavenly gold has none.

Scripture does not describe eternity in vague, misty terms. It gives us *texture* โ€” material, architectural, luminous detail. God is not offering an abstraction. He is building a dwelling.

Walk with that image today: a gate you could never purchase, opening freely. A road with nothing to hide.

Let us reflect on what we are being welcomed *into*.
