**Isaiah 48:21** โ€” *"They did not thirst when He led them through the deserts; He made water flow for them from the rock; He split the rock, and water gushed out."*

Notice what this verse does not say. It does not say God *warned* them water was coming, or *explained* the geology of the miracle beforehand. He simply provided โ€” precisely, abundantly, without negotiation.

The desert here is not metaphor. It was cracked ground, relentless heat, and a people with no reservoir of their own. And into that specific, physical insufficiency, the Shepherd split stone and gushed grace.

This is the covenant pattern: God's provision does not wait for our comfort to arrive first. It meets us *inside* the scarcity.

Consider the dry place you are standing in today โ€” not the one you fear is coming, but the one beneath your feet right now.

Scripture reminds us: He has been there before you, and the rock still yields.
