**Luke 13:22** โ€” *"Then Jesus traveled throughout the towns and villages, teaching as He made His way toward Jerusalem."*

He knew what waited in Jerusalem โ€” betrayal, thorns, a cross. And still He stopped. Town after town. Village after village. Teaching.

This is not the posture of someone rushing past people to reach a destination. This is a Shepherd who treated the road itself as sacred ground.

We often treat our current season as merely a waiting room โ€” something to endure until we arrive somewhere more significant. But Christ modeled something different: purposeful presence in the in-between.

The Greek word for "teaching" here carries the weight of ongoing, continuous action. He *kept* teaching. He did not reserve His wisdom for Jerusalem's grand courts.

Walk with that today. The ordinary roads you travel โ€” the conversations, the quiet moments, the unremarkable towns โ€” are not detours from your calling. Scripture reminds us that faithfulness is measured in the small villages, not only the great cities.

The road is the ministry.
