**Exodus 33:10** โ€” *"When all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance to the tent, they would stand up and worship, each one at the entrance to his own tent."*

Notice what this moment reveals: God's presence did not summon Israel into a single, centralized assembly. Each worshipper rose and bowed *where they stood* โ€” at the threshold of their own dwelling.

There is something deeply pastoral here. Worship was not reserved for the sanctuary or the spiritually prepared. It erupted from ordinary doorways, among ordinary people, the moment they recognized God had drawn near.

The cloud did not move to make worship convenient. The people simply *saw* โ€” and responded.

Scripture reminds us that the capacity to dwell in God's presence is not earned by proximity to holy spaces. It is cultivated by a heart trained to recognize when He has arrived.

Consider the threshold you are standing at today, and what it might mean to bow there.
