**Psalms 102:14** โ€” *"For Your servants delight in her stones and take pity on her dust."*

Jerusalem lay in ruins. Yet the servants of God could not look away โ€” not in despair, but in *delight*. They knelt over rubble and felt mercy rise.

This is a remarkable posture. Most walk past broken places. These servants lingered, moved by covenant love for something that no longer appeared worth loving.

There is a person, a relationship, a calling in your life that looks like dust right now. The world says move on. But the Spirit of God has been known to dwell in ruins โ€” to call servants back to stones others have abandoned.

Nehemiah heard this same cry and rebuilt walls everyone else had accepted as permanent loss.

Walk with what stirs pity in you. That tenderness may be the very signal of where God intends to rebuild.

*Let us reflect on what ruins we have been too quick to leave behind.*
