**Mark 3:12** โ€” *"But He warned them sternly not to make Him known."*

The demons recognized Jesus immediately โ€” and He silenced them.

This is not the hesitant restraint of someone unsure of His identity. This is sovereign timing. Jesus was not withholding truth; He was stewarding its revelation. A Messiah announced by unclean spirits would have been catastrophically misunderstood โ€” a military liberator, a political symbol, anything but a suffering servant.

Isaiah 42:1โ€“2 foreshadows this: *"He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets."* The covenant plan moved on God's schedule, not public appetite.

Consider the pastoral weight here: not every true thing is meant to be spoken at every moment. Wisdom โ€” *Proverbs 15:23* tells us โ€” knows when a word is timely.

There is a discipline in holy silence that honors the deeper work God is doing beneath the surface.

Walk with that today.
