**Leviticus 22:29** โ€” *"When you sacrifice a thank offering to the LORD, offer it so that it may be acceptable on your behalf."*

The Levitical priests understood something we often overlook: gratitude has a posture. A thank offering wasn't simply emotion poured out โ€” it was brought with intention, with care, with the whole self oriented toward the One receiving it.

Notice the phrase *"on your behalf."* The offering carried the worshiper's standing before God. Careless thanksgiving wasn't neutral โ€” it revealed the condition of the heart presenting it.

Consider the table you sit at today. The meal shared, the breath drawn, the mercy that met you this morning before you even named it โ€” these are not small things to acknowledge casually.

Scripture reminds us that acceptable worship flows from a soul that has actually paused to behold what it is grateful for.

Let us bring our thanks with the weight they deserve โ€” as those who dwell in covenant, not merely those who wave at grace from a distance.
