**Job 31:28** โ€” *"this would also be an iniquity to be judged, for I would have denied God on high."*

Job is defending his integrity before God โ€” and here he names something subtle: treating creation as an object of worship rather than a window to the Creator. To kiss his hand toward the moon or sun would be, in his own words, a denial.

This is not abstract theology. It is a man under extreme pressure, accounting for every hidden loyalty of his heart.

We rarely bow to celestial objects. But the pattern Job resists โ€” elevating the visible gift above the invisible Giver โ€” lives in subtler corners of our lives. A career. A relationship. A reputation carefully tended.

Job 31 is a covenant inventory. A man asking: *where have I quietly displaced God?*

Scripture reminds us that integrity is not merely what we refuse to do openly โ€” it is what we refuse to crown inwardly.

Walk with that today. The accounting is worth it.
