**Matthew 14:18** โ€” *"Bring them here to Me," Jesus said.*

Five loaves. Two fish. A crowd of thousands. The disciples had already done the math โ€” and the math said *not enough.*

But notice what Jesus does not do: He does not dismiss the insufficiency. He does not pretend the need is smaller than it is. He says, *bring it here.* All of it. The inadequate, the meager, the almost-embarrassing offering.

This is the covenant pattern of God's abundance โ€” it does not begin with what is sufficient. It begins with surrender.

The Greek word *ฯ†ฮญฯฮตฯ„ฮต* (pherete) is a command of movement โ€” *carry it forward, place it before Me.* There is an act of will required. The disciples had to hand over what little they held.

Whatever you are stewarding today that feels painfully small โ€” your resources, your strength, your faith โ€” Scripture reminds us the multiplication happens *after* the release.

Walk with open hands, beloved.
