**Leviticus 20:4** โ€” *"And if the people of the land ever hide their eyes and fail to put to death the man who gives one of his children to Molech..."*

Silence is never neutral.

Israel's covenant with God carried a communal weight โ€” when one family offered a child to Molech, the entire community bore responsibility. To look away was to participate. God held the congregation accountable not only for what they did, but for what they refused to see.

This is the steward's burden: we are not passive observers of our neighbors' covenant faithfulness. Scripture reminds us that the people of God dwell together, bear witness together, and answer together.

The modern temptation is to privatize faith โ€” to tend only our own household and call it faithfulness. But Leviticus will not allow that comfort.

Walk with this truth today: what we permit in silence, we endorse in covenant.
