**Mark 9:9** โ€” *"As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus admonished them not to tell anyone what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead."*

Peter, James, and John had witnessed the Transfiguration โ€” Moses and Elijah, a voice from the cloud, the radiant face of Christ. And they were told to be silent.

Not because the vision was unimportant. Because the world could not yet hold its full weight.

There is a covenant wisdom here for the steward of God's word: not every revelation is meant for every moment. Timing belongs to God. Premature testimony โ€” however well-intended โ€” can distort what is sacred before its season arrives.

The disciples descended the mountain carrying something too large for words. They walked in holy restraint.

Consider the things you carry that God may be asking you to hold a little longer, in trust, before you speak.

*By grace, silence can be its own form of faithfulness.*
