**1 Chronicles 6:37** โ€” *"the son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah"*

Korah. The name alone carries weight โ€” a man whose rebellion swallowed him whole (Numbers 16:32). Yet here, generations later, his descendants stand in the genealogy of temple worship. His great-great-grandson serves before the Lord.

God does not erase the lineage of the broken. He redeems it.

Scripture reminds us that covenant mercy outlasts personal failure. Psalm 106:17 records the judgment; 1 Chronicles 6 records the restoration. Both are true. Neither cancels the other.

The sons of Korah went on to write some of the most beloved psalms of longing and trust โ€” Psalm 84, Psalm 85, Psalm 87. From the ash of a father's ruin, they sang.

Walk with that today. Your name, your kindred, your story โ€” none of it is beyond the reach of grace that rewrites what shame tried to seal.
