**Psalms 71:16** — *"I will come in the strength of the Lord GOD; I will proclaim Your righteousness—Yours alone."*
The psalmist is aging. His bones carry decades. Yet he does not say, *I will come in the strength of my experience* — or my reputation, or my proven record of faithfulness.
He strips it all away.
