**Romans 12:15** โ€” *"Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep."*

Paul does not say *understand* those who weep. He says *weep with them.*

There is a difference. Understanding keeps you at a safe distance. Weeping requires you to set down your own comfort and enter someone else's grief โ€” uninvited by logic, drawn only by love.

The same is true of rejoicing. When a colleague receives what you were hoping for, when a friend's prayer is answered and yours still waits โ€” *rejoice with them.* This is covenant love in its most costly, daily form.

Scripture reminds us that the Body of Christ is not a collection of parallel lives running side by side. It is one body, where one member's sorrow is shared sorrow, and one member's joy becomes the whole table's celebration.

Walk with someone today in whatever they are carrying โ€” and let that be your worship.
