**John 4:6** โ *"Since Jacob's well was there, Jesus, weary from His journey, sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour."*
The sixth hour. Midday heat. No shade. And the Son of God โ *weary*.
This is not incidental detail. The Holy Spirit preserved this moment so we would know: Jesus did not merely wear flesh as a costume. He inhabited it fully โ tired muscles, parched throat, dust on His sandals.
And it is precisely in that weariness that He waits for a woman the village had already dismissed.
The Shepherd who tends us is not distant from our exhaustion. He has sat in it. He has felt the weight of the road.
Your weariness does not disqualify you from an encounter with Him โ it may be the very threshold where He chooses to dwell.
Let us reflect on what it means to be found by grace at the well, in the heat of our own sixth hour.
