Haggai 2:8 echoes this: *"The silver is mine and the gold is mine, declares the LORD Almighty."* The resources were never Solomon's to begin with — and neither are ours. We steward what belongs to the Covenant-Maker.
When God commissions a work, He does not send His servants to scrape by. He sends them to pour out — bronze upon bronze, grace upon grace (John 1:16).
