**1 Samuel 14:13** โ€” *"So Jonathan climbed up on his hands and feet, with his armor-bearer behind him. And the Philistines fell before Jonathan, and his armor-bearer followed and finished them off."*

Hands and feet. Not a battle cry, not a cavalry charge โ€” just a young man crawling up a rock face toward an impossible fight, because he believed God had already cleared the path.

Jonathan didn't wait for certainty. He had a sign, a covenant conviction, and a companion willing to follow. That was enough.

Scripture reminds us that obedience rarely looks heroic in the moment. It looks like scraped knees and steady movement โ€” one handhold at a time, trusting that the ground above is already prepared by the One who called you upward.

Consider the armor-bearer too: faithful not because he led, but because he served the one God had positioned.

Walk with the calling before you. The victory was never in the conditions โ€” it was in the obedience.
