**1 Chronicles 6:18** โ€” *"The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel."*

Four names. A genealogy so brief it nearly disappears into the scroll. Yet from this single line descends Moses, Aaron, and Miriam โ€” the very instruments God chose to lead an entire people out of bondage.

Kohath himself carried the ark through the wilderness. His kindred bore the holiest objects in Israel's camp โ€” not because they were extraordinary men, but because covenant faithfulness runs through ordinary lineage.

Scripture reminds us that God rarely announces His purposes with fanfare. He plants them quietly, in families, in names recorded without commentary, in sons who simply *showed up* for their generation.

Walk with that a moment โ€” the work you are doing faithfully today, the covenant you are stewarding in obscurity, may be precisely the lineage through which God moves in someone else's tomorrow.

Let us reflect on what faithful stewardship, carried forward without recognition, might yet become.
