**Numbers 32:4** β *"which the LORD conquered before the congregation of Israel, are suitable for livestockβand your servants have livestock."*
The tribes of Reuben and Gad surveyed the land east of the Jordan and spoke plainly: *this fits what we carry*. They named their need, acknowledged God's provision, and brought it honestly before Moses.
There is something quietly faithful in that. Not presumption β they did not seize the land. Not silence β they did not bury the request. They matched what God had given them *inwardly* (the flocks) with what God had given them *outwardly* (the terrain), and they said so.
A steward does exactly this: reads the shape of God's provision and names it clearly, without apology and without greed.
Consider the resources in your care today β the skills, the relationships, the ground beneath your feet β and whether you have honestly named what they are for.
*Walk with that awareness.*
