**1 Chronicles 15:25** โ *"So David, the elders of Israel, and the commanders of thousands went with rejoicing to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the house of Obed-edom."*
Notice who walked together: the king, the elders, the commanders. Not one man carrying a sacred burden alone.
David had learned this painfully. The first attempt to move the ark ended in tragedy โ Uzzah struck down because the proper order was neglected (1 Chronicles 13:10). Now, months later, David returns *differently*. With preparation. With community. With rejoicing born of humility rather than impulse.
This is covenant stewardship: sacred things carried rightly, by many hands, in proper time.
Scripture reminds us in Ecclesiastes 4:9 that *"two are better than one"* โ not merely for efficiency, but because God's holiest work is rarely entrusted to solitary zeal.
Walk with your kindred. Let the weight of holy things draw you together, not apart.
