**Daniel 4:24** — *"This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree that the Most High has issued against my lord the king."*
Daniel stood before Nebuchadnezzar — the most powerful man on earth — and did not soften the word. He delivered a hard decree with grief in his voice, not triumph. Verse 19 tells us Daniel was "perplexed for a time" and wished the dream applied to the king's enemies instead.
