**John 20:20** โ€” *"After He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord."*

The wounds were not hidden. They were the proof.

Thomas gets the attention in this chapter, but consider what happened first โ€” Jesus, standing before His disciples, lifted scarred hands and revealed a pierced side. He did not appear in glory untouched. He appeared *marked*, and that is precisely what caused them to rejoice.

The resurrection did not erase the cross. It redeemed it.

This is the covenant mercy of Christ: He carries into eternity what He endured for us. Those scars are not a reminder of defeat โ€” they are the eternal testimony of a Shepherd who gave everything and was raised still bearing the evidence.

Whatever you carry today โ€” let it be known that the Risen Lord does not ask you to pretend the wounds never happened.

Walk with a Savior who knows exactly what it means to be marked by love.
