**Joshua 21:40** โ€” *"In all, twelve cities were allotted to the clans of Merari, the remaining Levite clans."*

Twelve cities. Not a sweeping promise โ€” a counted, recorded, specific provision. The clans of Merari were not overlooked simply because they came last in the allotment. Scripture reminds us that God's covenant faithfulness does not diminish with proximity to the end of a list.

Merari's inheritance was as real and as measured as any tribe that received their land earlier. No remainder clause in God's economy means *lesser*. The remaining clans were still fully seen, fully named, fully provided for.

Consider the steward who assumes the final portion will be thin โ€” and discovers the table was set for them all along.

Walk with that today: your name is not buried at the bottom of God's ledger. His provision is precise, not approximate โ€” and it reaches to the last.

Let us reflect on what it means to be fully known by a God who counts carefully.
