**2 Chronicles 29:29** โ€” *"When the offerings were completed, the king and all those present with him bowed down and worshiped."*

King Hezekiah had just led Judah through years of spiritual neglect back into covenant faithfulness. The altar was cleansed. The priests were consecrated. The offerings were made. And then โ€” only then โ€” they bowed.

This sequence matters. Worship here was not a feeling they chased. It was the fruit of obedience completed.

So often we yearn for the posture of worship without the preparation that makes it honest. Hezekiah's bow was not performance โ€” it was the overflow of a people who had done the hard, faithful work of returning to God.

Scripture reminds us that restored worship is itself a gift of grace, received only after we have walked in the direction God calls us.

Consider the offerings still unfinished in your own life โ€” and what awaits on the other side of that faithfulness.
