**Genesis 46:20** โ€” *"Manasseh and Ephraim were born to Joseph in the land of Egypt by Asenath daughter of Potiphera, priest of On."*

A Hebrew son of the covenant, raising children in a pagan priest's household. Consider the weight of that detail โ€” not as a footnote, but as a testimony.

Joseph did not wait for perfect conditions to be faithful. He stewarded his family's formation in the most unlikely soil, and God honored it so deeply that Manasseh and Ephraim became two of Israel's twelve tribes.

Fruitfulness is rarely born where we expected it. The names Joseph chose said everything: Manasseh โ€” *God made me forget my hardship*. Ephraim โ€” *God made me fruitful in my suffering.*

Grace does not require a familiar land. It requires a faithful steward.

Let us reflect on the places where God may be planting something eternal โ€” even now, in the soil that feels most foreign to us.
