**Judges 7:20** โ *"The three companies blew their horns and shattered their jars. Holding the torches in their left hands and the horns in their right hands, they shouted, 'A sword for the LORD and for Gideon!'"*
Three hundred men. No swords drawn. Only broken clay and exposed flame.
This is the logic of God's covenant strategy โ not overwhelming force, but the shattering of what conceals the light. The jar had to break for the torch to be seen. Gideon's men did not fight *with* the light; they *became* the light by surrendering what contained it.
Scripture reminds us that we, too, are clay vessels carrying something far greater than ourselves โ *"this treasure in jars of clay,"* as Paul testifies in 2 Corinthians 4:7.
The breaking is not the defeat. The breaking is the witness.
Walk with that today โ and consider what the LORD may be shattering in you not to diminish you, but to display His glory through you.
