**Romans 14:16** โ€” *"Do not allow what you consider good, then, to be spoken of as evil."*

Paul wrote this to a congregation fractured over food and holy days โ€” real friction, real relationships at stake. The principle cuts deeper than table manners: when we handle our convictions carelessly, we hand critics a weapon they did not forge themselves.

The steward of good things bears responsibility for how those good things are *represented*. Wisdom, mercy, covenant faithfulness โ€” these can be obscured by our posture long before our theology is examined.

Walk with integrity not only in what you do, but in how you carry it before those who are watching closely and skeptically.

Let us reflect on the gift we hold โ€” and whether the way we hold it honors the Giver.
