**Hebrews 2:12** โ *"I will proclaim Your name to My brothers; I will sing Your praises in the assembly."*
The writer of Hebrews places these words on the lips of Christ Himself โ drawing from Psalm 22, the very psalm that opens with *"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"* What begins in desolation ends in proclamation. Christ, having passed through suffering, does not withdraw into silence. He *sings*. He names the Father before kindred.
This is not metaphor for the sake of comfort. It is the pattern of redemption made audible โ the Shepherd who endured the darkness now leading worship from within the congregation, not above it.
Walk with that image today: Christ standing *among* His brothers, voice raised.
Scripture reminds us that our own praise, however faltering, echoes something ancient and costly โ a song that was purchased before we ever knew the words.
Let us reflect on what it means to sing beside Him.
