**Numbers 8:13** โ€” *"You are to have the Levites stand before Aaron and his sons and then present them before the LORD as a wave offering."*

A wave offering was not passive. The priest's hands moved โ€” lifting, presenting, releasing. The Levites were not simply *assigned* a role; they were *consecrated into* one. There is a difference.

Scripture reminds us that God does not merely recruit workers โ€” He sets apart servants. Aaron's hands over the Levites signified covering, accountability, and blessing flowing downward before service flowed outward. No one entered the work of the tabernacle on their own authority.

This is the covenant pattern: presentation before the LORD precedes fruitful labor. The steward who skips consecration and rushes to service will find the work hollow.

Walk with that image today โ€” hands lifted, a life presented, a calling received rather than seized.

There is something worth sitting with in the posture of being *offered* before being *sent*.
