**Isaiah 30:13** β€” *"This iniquity of yours is like a breach about to fail, a bulge in a high wall, whose collapse will come suddenlyβ€”in an instant!"*

Ancient engineers knew the sign: a wall that bows outward is already failing. The stone hasn't fallen yet, but the verdict is written in the curve. Isaiah speaks to Judah's quiet compromises β€” the alliances made in secret, the small dishonesties accumulating behind a respectable exterior.

This is the pastoral warning we rarely welcome. Sin concealed does not stabilize. It pressurizes. What looks like a standing wall to the crowd is already condemned by its own hidden fracture.

The mercy here is that the bulge is *visible* β€” to God, and often to us β€” before the collapse arrives. Covenant faithfulness begins with honest acknowledgment of what is bowing outward in our own interior walls.

Walk with the Shepherd who sees the fracture and offers repair before the instant comes.
