More supply out of one of the world's largest producers is a ceiling on prices, and traders responded accordingly.
And on the corporate front, Meta told staff internally today that further layoffs beyond the ten percent cut already announced cannot be ruled out. The company's HR chief acknowledged morale has taken a hit, though she insisted the business itself remains strong. For a stock market watching AI investment stories closely, Meta's internal turbulence is worth watching.
