**Ezekiel 17:23** โ *"I will plant it on the mountain heights of Israel so that it will bear branches; it will yield fruit and become a majestic cedar. Birds of every kind will nest under it, taking shelter in the shade of its branches."*
Ezekiel wrote this to exiles who had watched their kingdom stripped bare. No temple. No throne. No visible future. And yet God spoke of a cedar โ not a sapling clinging to survival, but a *majestic* tree whose shade would shelter every kind of bird.
This is covenant faithfulness made visible: God does not restore in whispers. He plants on *heights*. He builds toward abundance, not mere survival.
The exiles were not asked to manufacture this growth. They were asked to trust the One doing the planting.
Walk with that today โ whatever has been stripped, whatever feels bare. The Shepherd who plants on mountain heights has not forgotten where you stand.
