**Joshua 12:11** โ€” *"the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one."*

Two names. Two kingdoms. One tally mark each.

This is not poetry. It is a ledger โ€” the kind a steward keeps after a long campaign. Joshua 12 reads like an accountant's record, yet Scripture preserves it with the same care as the Psalms. Why?

Because God counts what He conquers. Every stronghold surrendered, every king brought low, every promise fulfilled โ€” none of it escapes His record. Psalm 44:3 reminds us: *"It was not by their sword that they won the land... it was your right hand, your arm."*

The covenant God who walked Israel through Canaan is the same God who keeps faithful record of every battle you have faced by His grace.

The ledger is His. The victory is His. And your name โ€” beloved โ€” is written there too.

Consider the faithfulness hidden in the lists you overlook.
