**Judges 3:1** โ€” *"These are the nations that the LORD left to test all the Israelites who had not known any of the wars in Canaan."*

The younger generation had heard the stories โ€” Red Sea, manna, Jericho's walls. But hearing is not knowing. God, in His covenant faithfulness, did not remove every obstacle. He preserved certain adversaries *specifically* for those with no firsthand experience of battle.

This is not negligence. This is discipleship.

The shepherd does not carry the lamb indefinitely. There comes a season when the path must be walked, when the weight must be felt, when faith must move from inherited testimony into personal encounter.

What you received from those who walked before you is sacred โ€” but God is equally committed to writing *your* chapter of faithfulness, forged through the tests only you can steward.

Scripture reminds us: the God who tested Israel is the same God who equips those He tests.

Let us reflect on what He may be preserving โ€” not to harm, but to prove.
