**Psalm 40:10** โ€” *"I have not covered up Your righteousness in my heart; I have declared Your faithfulness and salvation; I have not concealed Your loving devotion and faithfulness from the great assembly."*

David didn't whisper God's faithfulness into the walls of a private room. He declared it before the great assembly โ€” publicly, specifically, at cost to his own comfort and reputation.

There is a quiet temptation to steward God's goodness privately โ€” to receive His mercy and say nothing. But the covenant life calls us outward. What God has done in the hidden places is meant to testify in the open ones.

Consider the last time you witnessed something unmistakably true about God's character. His provision, His mercy, His rescue. Did it stay sealed in your heart, or did it find a voice?

Walk with David here: to declare is to steward. Faithfulness kept silent is faithfulness half-lived.
