**Exodus 18:15** โ€” *"Because the people come to me to inquire of God," Moses replied.*

Moses stood between a nation and its questions. Every dispute, every uncertainty, every aching need โ€” they brought it to him. He didn't send them away. He received them.

This is the posture of a faithful shepherd: present, available, unhurried. Jethro would soon counsel Moses to share the load, yes โ€” but notice what Moses never questioned. *Why* the people came. They came to inquire of God. The shepherd's role was simply to hold that door open.

Scripture reminds us that spiritual leadership is not about having every answer. It is about pointing every question toward the One who does. Moses was a steward of access, not a keeper of wisdom.

Consider the doors you hold open for others. The conversation you make space for. The burden you receive without dismissing.

Walk with that calling today โ€” the ministry of being present is rarely small.
