**1 Chronicles 6:71** โ€” *"From the clan of the half-tribe of Manasseh they were given Golan in Bashan and also Ashtaroth, together with their pasturelands."*

A city and its surrounding fields. Land enough to dwell, to graze, to sustain the work of worship.

The Gershomites were Levites โ€” set apart for sacred service, yet given *pastureland*. God did not call them to float above the earthly. He rooted them in soil, in place, in provision.

This is the covenant pattern: those who steward holy things are not left to wander. As Numbers 18:20 affirms, God Himself is their inheritance โ€” and yet He still appointed concrete land to meet concrete needs.

Grace does not despise the practical. The shepherd who tends the altar still needs a field.

Scripture reminds us that faithful stewardship begins where your feet actually stand โ€” in the specific place, with the specific provision, God has already given.

Walk with that truth today.
