**Psalm 111:1** โ€” *"Hallelujah! I will give thanks to the LORD with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly."*

Notice the psalmist does not say *I will give thanks when I feel ready* โ€” he declares it with the whole heart, and he declares it *together*, in the council of the upright, in the assembly.

Gratitude, in Scripture, is rarely a private transaction. It is a covenant act, testified before kindred who share the same mercy. The Hebrew *'edah* โ€” assembly โ€” carries the weight of a gathered community bound by common witness.

This means your thanksgiving is not merely personal devotion. It is a gift to those who hear it. When you speak of what God has done, you strengthen the faith of those standing beside you.

Walk into your week with this: your praise is both an offering upward and a testimony outward โ€” and the assembly is waiting to be strengthened by it.
