**Jeremiah 33:24** โ€” *"Have you not noticed what these people are saying: 'The LORD has rejected the two families He had chosen'? So they despise My people and no longer regard them as a nation."*

The whisper of abandonment is ancient. In Jeremiah's day, the exiles watched Jerusalem burn and concluded that God had severed His covenant โ€” permanently, irreversibly. Their despair became theology.

But God interrupts that conclusion mid-sentence.

This is not a passive verse. The LORD is actively listening to what His people believe about Him โ€” and He pushes back. Covenant faithfulness, He insists, is not contingent on circumstances that *look* like rejection.

When your season feels like exile โ€” when the silence of heaven feels like severance โ€” consider that God may be asking you the same pointed question He asked Jeremiah's generation.

What you believe about God's faithfulness *in the dark* will shape everything you do when the light returns.

Walk with that truth today. โ€” *oh7*
