**1 Chronicles 29:2** β€” *"Now with all my ability I have made provision for the house of my Godβ€”gold for the gold articles, silver for the silver, bronze for the bronze, iron for the iron, and wood for the wood, as well as onyx for the settings, turquoise, stones of various colors, all kinds of precious stones, and slabs of marbleβ€”all in abundance."*

David did not offer God the leftovers. He catalogued every material β€” gold, silver, bronze, iron, wood, marble β€” with the precision of a steward who understood that sacred work deserves the full weight of one's capacity.

Notice the phrase: *with all my ability.* Not convenience. Not surplus. Ability.

This is covenant faithfulness made tangible. David had spent years gathering, discerning, and setting aside β€” long before the foundation stone was ever laid.

Scripture reminds us that preparation is itself an act of worship. What you steward today is an offering already in motion.

Walk with that conviction this week.
