**2 Peter 1:17** โ€” *"For He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to Him from the Majestic Glory, saying, 'This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.'"*

Peter was an eyewitness on that mountain. He heard the Father's voice break open the sky over His Son โ€” not after a ministry triumph, not at the resurrection, but mid-sojourn, before the cross.

The Father declared pleasure *before* the suffering was complete.

This is the covenant logic of grace: beloved-ness precedes performance. Jesus carried that declaration into Gethsemane. Into the tomb. The Father's word over Him did not waver when the weight was heaviest.

Scripture reminds us in Romans 8:17 that we are co-heirs with Christ โ€” which means that same voice, through adoption, speaks over those who abide in Him.

Consider the weight you are carrying today โ€” and whose word you are choosing to carry with you.
