**Philippians 1:2** โ€” *"Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."*

Paul wrote this from a Roman prison cell. No pulpit. No congregation gathered at his feet. Chains on his wrists โ€” and still, his first movement is to extend grace and peace outward.

This is not a pleasantry. In the ancient world, *charis* (grace) replaced the standard Greek greeting *chairein*, and *shalom* (peace) carried the full weight of Hebrew covenant wholeness. Paul fused two worlds into one benediction โ€” and aimed it at people he could not reach with his hands.

The steward who has received grace does not hoard it behind comfortable walls. It flows outward, even from confinement.

Consider the places in your life where you feel most restricted โ€” and whether grace might be precisely what you are positioned to give from there.

*Walk with that today.*
