**Judges 13:3** โ *"It is true that you are barren and have no children; but you will conceive and give birth to a son."*
The angel does not soften the diagnosis. Barren. No children. The covenant word lands plainly before the promise does.
This is the mercy of God's honesty โ He names the wound before He speaks the wonder. Manoah's wife is not given false comfort. She is seen fully, in her lack, and *then* the word of life is spoken over her.
Scripture reminds us that God's promises do not require us to pretend our circumstances are other than they are. The barrenness was real. So was Samson.
Walk with that today โ the places you have named as closed, finished, or beyond hope may be precisely where the angel of the LORD chooses to stand.
Let us reflect on what we have too quickly declared impossible.
