**1 Samuel 17:45** โ€” *"You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD of Hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied."*

David didn't minimize Goliath's weapons. He named them โ€” sword, spear, javelin โ€” and then named something greater. This is not naive courage. This is covenant clarity.

The boy who tended sheep in Bethlehem's fields had learned something the armored soldiers of Israel had forgotten: the battle belongs to the One who called you, not the one who threatens you.

Consider the posture here. David didn't arrive with a strategy. He arrived with a name โ€” *LORD of Hosts* โ€” and that name was his entire defense.

Whatever stands before you today, towering and armed, Scripture reminds us that our authority is never drawn from our own resources. We steward what God has already claimed.

Walk with that name. It has never lost a battle.
