**Exodus 14:31** โ€” *"When Israel saw the great power that the LORD had exercised over the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD and believed in Him and in His servant Moses."*

Notice the sequence here: they *saw*, then they *feared*, then they *believed*.

Faith did not arrive through argument or instruction. It arrived through witness โ€” through water standing like walls, through a nation walking on dry ground, through an army swallowed by the sea at dawn.

The Hebrew *yare'* โ€” to fear โ€” is not dread. It is reverent awe in the presence of power that dwarfs all human explanation.

Israel had murmured at the shore. Moses had lifted his staff. And God had moved.

What the people could not reason their way into, they were walked through.

Scripture reminds us that the covenant God does not merely speak of His faithfulness โ€” He demonstrates it, so that those who witness may testify, and those who testify may abide in Him.

Let us reflect on what we have *seen* โ€” and what that witness is meant to produce in us.
