**Matthew 9:5** โ€” *"Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?"*

Jesus posed this to religious leaders who could verify a healing with their eyes โ€” but could never audit a forgiven soul. He chose the invisible act first, precisely because it cost more. The paralyzed man needed his legs, yes. But Christ saw the deeper paralysis: the weight of sin that no physician could touch.

This is the covenant logic of grace โ€” the visible miracle was given as evidence for the invisible one. Not the other way around.

We often seek the tangible sign. The open door. The restored relationship. The healed body. Scripture reminds us that God moves from the inside out โ€” from the forgiven heart toward the walking life.

Walk with that today: the mercy you cannot see may already be the greater work already done.
