**1 Kings 17:6** โ€” *"The ravens would bring him bread and meat in the morning and evening, and he would drink from the brook."*

Ravens. Unclean birds by Levitical law โ€” yet God conscripted them as couriers for His prophet.

This is not incidental detail. Elijah had just declared a drought over Israel at God's word, making himself an enemy of the crown. He had no provisions, no protection, no plan beyond obedience. And God's response was to provision him through the very creatures Israel considered ritually impure.

Scripture reminds us that God is not limited by our categories of worthy and unworthy instruments. The brook was temporary. The ravens were unconventional. The grace was exact.

Walk with that tension today โ€” that the God who holds covenant keeps His servants through means they would never have chosen for themselves.

Consider the ravens. Consider what unlikely provision may already be at your threshold.
