**Romans 14:22** โ€” *"Keep your belief about such matters between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves."*

There is a particular kind of spiritual fatigue that comes from defending every conviction in every room. Paul, writing to a fractured Roman congregation divided over food and feast days, offers something unexpected โ€” permission to hold certain convictions quietly, as a covenant between your soul and God alone.

Not every belief requires a public argument. Not every grace-given freedom demands an audience.

The blessing here is not passivity โ€” it is integrity. To approve something before God and walk in it without manufacturing controversy, without performing certainty for others, without stumbling those whose faith is still tender.

Wisdom knows what to proclaim and what to steward in silence.

Let us reflect on which convictions we carry with genuine peace before God โ€” and which ones we may be approving simply because we want to be seen approving them.
